Dear Sir or Madam, Dear Customers,

We are pleased to announce the strengthening of the collaboration begun in 2024, when the 2-wheeler testing regulations came into force, between CAPELEC, designer and manufacturer of MOT testing equipment, and BOSCH, automotive supplier, manufacturer of workshop equipment and service provider in the MOT testing sector.

This commercial and technical partnership aims to offer MOT testing professionals a complementary and consistent offer, combining the supply of high-performance equipment with highly qualified local support services.

Two independent players for optimised service continuity

Committed to offering a simple solution for replacing BOSCH products that have been installed for many years, our two companies are combining their respective expertise to ensure continuity for the installed equipment base:

Equipment: CAPELEC integrates its innovative software solution into the proven technology of original BOSCH LV and LV+ test lane frames. CAPELEC will henceforth market these new test lanes under its own brand, together with spare parts and its range of headlight testers.

Maintenance services: Drawing on its long-standing expertise and its technical teams, BOSCH will, on CAPELEC's recommendation, provide installation, commissioning, regulatory and corrective maintenance, as well as after-sales service for all of this equipment.

Your dedicated contacts remain separate and specialised:

BOSCH for your regulatory maintenance contracts, your requests for technical after-sales interventions, and your gas analyser projects.

CAPELEC for the purchase of equipment and spare parts, and for the study of your new test lane equipment projects.

This commercial partnership is offered as a preferred, non-exclusive recommendation. Our customers thus retain complete commercial independence in selecting their equipment and in subscribing to their maintenance services, ensuring an offer that is always perfectly suited to their needs.

Innovation and local presence

New equipment to come: The specialisation of our respective Research & Development departments will make it possible to expand our product and service ranges with solutions adapted to future changes in European regulations.

Unchanged geographical coverage: The structures and teams of both companies remain fully autonomous and unchanged. You will continue to benefit from the same territorial network, the same operational proximity and the high standards of responsiveness that make us strong.
